Record Store Day With Dogfish Head

Record Store Day With Dogfish Head

Join us on Saturday, April 18 for Record Store Day! At Cape Fear Wine & Beer we have always supported all music and musicians, locally-owned record stores and, of course, good craft beer. Dogfish Head has released several world-class beers devoted to timeless musicians, such as Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew and Robert Johnson’s Hellhound. We’ll have limited Dogfish beers on tap and special edition Record Store Day glassware.

Founders is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and have been rolling out some of the best, most sought-after beers since 1997. A common story in the industry, the great minds behind Founders took great risks to make their dream happen.
We got our hands on a keg of Founders Brewing Company’s Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS). This imperial stout receives top marks across the board. It’s brewed with coffee and chocolate, then aged in bourbon barrels that also aged maple syrup. We’ll be tapping it on Wednesday, March 18. More details to come. Mark your calendars.

Stone Brewing Co. recently announced they’ll be discontinuing production of their Levitation Amber Ale and Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA (which was one of the first commercially available black IPA’s on the market). Keeping these beers in a year-round portfolio wasn’t justified by the amount that was selling.

Not to fret: Stone will be periodically releasing a black IPA version of its Enjoy By.

To Be Discontinued: Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow
