Big Beer’s Plan to Sell to Consumers Who Hate Them

“America’s biggest beer companies want more millennials to buy their products, but they don’t want to be, like, obvi about it.

Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors — the makers of America’s favorites, Bud Light and Coors Light — have watched their popularity slowly erode over the last decade. Their plans to stem the tide include marketing to a generation notoriously resistant to efforts at being won over.”

Special Events

Tuesday, February 23 at 8 PM:

  • Bell’s Hopslam Hangout
Hey! We’ve got a little bit of Hopslam draft left! Come hang out with us & Mary of Bell’s and finish off our good ol’ hoppy pal ’til next year.
We’ll also have Smitten Golden Rye Ale & Midwestern Pale Ale on draft, and Two Hearted cans.

  • Mincey’s Farewell Tour: Trailblazer
Last month one of our beloved Tryon brand managers, Chris Mincey, brewed a collaboration beer with his guys at Great Divide Brewery of Denver, Colorado. He’ll be leaving Tryon next month to go off and do mountain man stuff climbing the App Trail! He’s doing a farewell tour of some of his favourite top beer accounts in the state with their collaborative Chocolate Mint Stout. He’ll be sharing the love with us on Saturday, February 27 at 4 PM. We’ll have a couple other tasty Great Divide kegs on to support Trailblazer.

Trailblazer: Aromas of chocolate and mint come together to create the illusion of a peppermint pattie. The taste is reminiscent of the smell except for a lighter flavor of roasted barley is present as well as a medium bodied mouth feel. Similar to a peppermint pattie, the beer delivers a “cooling sensation” when exhaling after consuming a pint. No more beer breath!

  • Alpine/Green Flash Night At CFWB
    Hopheads! Come get your fix!
    Green Flash West Coast IPA
    Alpine Duet IPA
Green Flash Green Bullet Triple IPA

Come hang out with us and Charlie of Green Flash!
